Summer Series Webinar: Collecting and Curating Feminist Protest Art by Women of Color

The framework for this workshop is to inspire students to begin thinking about feminist and protest art mostly by women of color. We will walk through a live process which includes:

  • Witnessing and analyzing art in a gallery setting albeit virtually
  • Speaking to the importance of protest art by women of color
  • The principles and practices on how to collect art
  • What does curation mean and how has this been done in the gallery of Sara Vance Waddell
