Mental Health Workshop – Cheers to the New Years? Strategies for Addressing Substance Use During the Holiday Season

In this workshop, it will be discussed why drug and alcohol abuse tends to spike during the holidays (stress, isolation, holiday grieving, lack of support, COVID-19, etc.). Additionally, the impact of how COVID has increased drinking will be discussed. Participants will learn helpful techniques and resources to combat the issue and establish healthy coping strategies.
