Summer Series Webinar: A Conversation and Reading with Sonia Sanchez

Sonia Sanchez is a renown poet, scholar, teacher and activist.  She was one of the architects of the Black Arts Movement, a pioneer in the development of Women’s Studies and Black Studies.  She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2018 Wallace Stevens Award in recognition of her outstanding and proven mastery in the art of poetry.   Professor Sanchez has written more than a dozen books of poetry, plays and children’s books.
