Dr. A. Hasan Sapci has extensive experience in applied information technology. His research interests are connected health, m-Health, and remote monitoring applications. He led and contributed to interdisciplinary projects pursuing the development and evaluation of innovative technologies, developed a model for implementing store-and-forward telemedicine in large academic medical centers, and received the Fostering Innovation Grant Award. Dr. Sapci founded a first-of-its-kind Health Informatics Simulation Laboratory and provided consultations to build state-of-the-art telemedicine programs. He serves on U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration and Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology committees. He has authored and co-authored scientific articles and abstracts and given presentations and lectures on telemedicine/telehealth.
